OCS 500N6 – Compact tester for Ringwave and Damped Oscillatory Waves The OCS 500N6 includes test capabilities for ringwave up to 6kV (as per EN/IEC 61000-4-12) and the damped oscillatory waves at 100 kHz and 1 MHz up to 3 kV (as per EN/IEC 61000-4-18). The Ringwave is a non-repetitive damped oscillatory transient occurring in low-voltage power, control and signal lines supplied by public and non-public networks. Damped Oscillatory Waves are repetitive transients mainly occurring in power, control and signal cables installed in high voltage and medium voltage stations. The OCS 500N6 can also be used to perform magnetic field tests as required in EN/IEC 61000-4-10 using a magnetic field coil such as the MS 100N.

Combination Wave Simulator Surge pulses occur due to direct or indirect lightning strokes to an external (outdoor) circuit. This leads to currents or electromagnetic fields causing high voltage or current transients. Another source for surge pulses are switching transients originating from switching disturbances and systems faults. Due to the characteristic of the phenomenon nearly every electrical and electronical device may suffer from such lightning events which justifies the necessity of surge tests being widely performed. Surge voltage can reach several thousands of volts and surge current is seen to reach several thousands of amps.

3-Phase Coupling Decoupling Network
he three-phase coupling/decoupling networks of the CNI 503x series are used to couple EFT/Burst pulses and Surge pulses on DC-lines or to three-phase (4-wire or 5-wire supply lines) mains supply systems for voltages up to 1,000VDC / 3x690VAC. This includes the more and more common testing of inverters used in the area of renewable energies (e.g. photovoltaic systems, wind power stations, electric cars).Within the range of EM TEST coupling/decoupling networks we offer different models for test voltages from 5kV up to 10kV with DUT currents of 16A, 32A, 63A, 100A and 200A for the various test requirements and equipment configuration.Testing of electronic modules with EFT/burst, 1.2/50µs Surge or Ring Wave pulses up to 10kV, 5kA The CNI 503 couples the surge and burst pulses from the impulses generators UCS 500Nx to a three phase test object (coupling as per.
