ModulatorConsole is software for TVB59X series PCIe/USB modulators (TVB598, TVB599A, TVB591,…). The software works in remote mode if the software executed with a

remote argument. ModulatorConsoleRemote icon is short cut for remote mode and ModulatorConsole icon is short cut for normal mode (works as server for remote control).

Install Windows Application Software [ModulatorConsole] – New, Replaces TVB59X Softwares

1.Download new software from ModulatorConsole.zip from ftp://ftp.teleview.com/TVB59X_QT_WINDOWS/ModulatorConsole.zip. This file is updated to keep the latest software. This new version software support TVBManager for remote control.

2. Unzip and go to Install folder and execute setup.exe. It does not distinguish 32bit or 64bit Windows.

3. Windows version supported: Windows 10 32/64bit, Windows 8 32/64bit, Windows 7 32/64bit.

4. For older windows than Windows7, use TPG0590VC.zip from ftp://ftp.teleview.com/TVB590_5_7_Windows/TPG0590VC.zip. It supports Windows Vista 32/64bit, Windows XP 32/64bit, Windows 2003 Server 32/64bit and Windows 2008 Server

32/64bit and Windows Server 2012 as well as Windows 7, 8 and 10.

5. Supported hardware: TVB590S/590E/590C/390/594, TVB593, TVB595, TVB591S, TVB597A, TVB598 and TVB599A.

Install Ubuntu GUI Application Software [ModulatorConsole] – New

1. The Latest software of ModulatorConsole for Ubuntu with GUI is available from ftp://ftp.teleview.com/TVB59X_QT_LINUX/.

2. Compatible with Linux Ubuntu 14.04/16.04 32bits/64bits, Debian (Release 6.0.1 squeeze) Kernel 2.6.32-5-686, Redhat 6.

3. TVB590S/590E/590, TVB593, TVB598, TVB599A, TVB597A v1~v4, v2/595C, TVB591S are supported.

4. There is a ModulatorConsole software for TVB599/LAN also. Source level compatible not binary level.

How to Upgrade ModulatorConsole

1. From ModulatorConsole or old TVB59X software, click Help / About menu and click software download link.

2. Software Version 1.3 features (August 9, 2016)

– Remote control support. Use ModulatorConsole remote to launch remote control mode instead of ModulatorConsole.

– Command argument support. Use ModulatorConsole -help to view help message.

– Remote file upload supported for TPG460 and TVB599LAN.

– IP streaming play bug fixed (Windows platform)

– DVB-C2 center frequency change bug fixed. (Remote mode)

– Play time display bug (TS-List source) fixed.

– DVB-S2/S2X multi-mode symbol rate bug fixed.

– Limitation: Group play bug. Scheduler is not supported.

Linux Application Software – Obsolete

1. The Latest software of TVB59X for Linux is available from TVBAgent_LINUX.zip.

2. TVB59X for Linux and TVBManager for TVB597/LAN requires Sun Microsystems Java 1.6 Update 17 or later.

3. Compatible with Linux Fedora 20 (Kernel 3.15.6-200.fc20.i686) 32bits/64bits, Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS (Kernel 3.13.0-33-generic), Ubuntu(10.03, kernel 2.6.32-25-generic, gcc4.4.1) 32bits/64bits, Debian (Release 6.0.1 squeeze) Kernel 2.6.32-5-686, Redhat 6.

4. TVB590S/590E/590, TVB593, TVB598 v1-v3, TVB599A v1-v3, TVB597A v1~v4, v2/595C, TVB591S are supported.

5. On ISDB-S modulation for 64bit Linux, IP input mode is not stable.
